International Women’s Day 2023

Imagine a world where women have equal rights and freedoms around the globe. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive.

International Women’s Day was established for the purpose of recognizing and celebrating women achievements and rallying for women’s equality around the globe.

Did you know, International Women’s Day has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911, supported by over a million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. IWD is not country, group or organization specific.

March is also Women’s History Month.

Each year, the United Nations celebrates international Women’s Day by setting a THEME. And this year’s theme is “DigitALL: Innovation & technology for gender equality” with the intent of:
