A Juicy Pear Podcast with Shawn & Wendy
Our show takes a fun, real life look at life through the eyes of mom‘s, divorcees, married, single, whatever your status may be, we’re so glad you’ve landed here. If you like to laugh and have fun, as well as being inspired, you’ve come to the right place.
We want to inspire, influence, and elevate by sharing personal stories. We feel that story telling is essential to the human experience, and that we can all learn something by being more transparent. Feeling stagnate and without hope is probably the worst one could feel, and we want our show to be the opposite of that. To elevate, motivate, and share some joy and laughter in the process.
Check out Wendy Kok’s book A Grey Resort Book. It won the 2020 American Fiction Award in the Romance/Paranormal Category.

Healing Hope for your Heart with Denise Castille
In the Healing Hope for Your Heart podcast we bring you heart stories of survival. These stories are meant to share resources for prevention, messages of early detection, accurate diagnosis, self-advocacy and overall heart disease awareness.
We serve heart event survivors where they are, have been or might be headed.
My passion is using my voice and teaching skills in a way that meets heart event survivors where they are, have been or are headed. Our mission is to encourage heart healthier communities by connecting people to cardiovascular information, resources, and support. Our vision is to eradicate heart disease.
I started the podcast because years after my personal misdiagnosis of heart disease and despite increased awareness there are many women and even some doctors who still dismiss its symptoms as stress or anxiety. There is still much more work to be done in the area of heart disease awareness.
Recognizing heart disease symptoms, Best practices for managing heart disease risk factors and How to survive and even thrive after a heart event.
One of the best ways to manage heart disease risk factors is through diet. We invite listeners to visit our website where they can view heart healthy cooking demo videos: https://freshstartheart.org/heart-healthy-cooking
FASD Hope with Natalie Vecchione
FASD Hope is a podcast about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), through the lens of parent advocates with more than 18 years of lived experience.
The mission of FASD hope is to provide awareness, information and inspiration to those whose lives have been touched by a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
My name is Natalie Vecchione and I am an FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) parent advocate, homeschooler, podcaster, but MOST importantly… a wife and mom!
We started FASD Hope to share our experiences as parents of a young adult with an FASD, resources, support and hope to those on the journey of FASD.
My and husband (John) and I adopted both our son and daughter via domestic adoption. We began homeschooling 7 years ago, when we noticed how many accommodations our son needed (who was later diagnosed with an FASD).
Once receiving our son’s FASD diagnosis when he was 15, I took one of the darkest times of my life as a mom and used my brokenness as a spark to become a parent advocate and help other families not to feel as alone as we had felt on our journey.
I began advocating for FASD by being a peer support mentor and co-facilitating a parent support group. I’m certified in Mental Health First Aid. In the past two years, I volunteered as a board member and social media coordinator for several North Carolina nonprofits.
In April 2020, I began my new adventure in the world of podcasting through producing and hosting podcasts about FASD…. and I became a “Mom on a Mission with a Microphone”. In October 2020, my husband and I co-founded our own podcast and website, “FASD Hope”. The mission of FASD Hope is to provide awareness, information and inspiration to people whose lives have been touched by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
Listen to our podcast, visit fasdhope.com and email or message us about how you can support / share awareness or support those in the FASD community.
